Proof of this is the fact that so many families return to the same place, creating a family atmosphere that has become typical of the area.

For sports enthusiasts there are tennis courts nearby (250 m), football pitches (400 m); a riding school (400 m) and a cycle path (5 km uninterrupted along the Marina di Ascea to the cliffs of Ascea Marina) where you can also skate and roller-skate. For those who love social life there is no lack of entertainment: shopping, discos and shows organised especially during the summer.
Easily accessible (even on foot) is the area of the archaeological excavations of Elea- Velia with its tower visible in the distance. From the slopes of the archaeological site there is a wonderful view of the sea.
